You may have noticed I've been a little quiet over the past two weeks. First and foremost, I've been busy conducting research through my work at Kansas State University and photographing and learning from some amazing Kansas farmers for my Farmer series. Secondly, I've been preparing "round the clock" for my two presentations I am giving at the Ag Media Summit at the end of this week in Indianapolis.
I've always had a passion for teaching people what I am passionate about. I spent years as a high school agriculture teacher and have two parents who were both teachers. Once a teacher, always a teacher.
In order to provide the workshop participants with the best experience possible, I've focused all of my attention on preparing two great workshops (one on my lighting techniques and another on my editing workflow). But don't worry, I already have next week's blog post in the works and will be introducing you to a hard-working young man who aspires to join the dedicated and knowledgable beef ranching community.
Do you know of a hardworking farmer or rancher that would be great for the Farmer series? Feel free to email Scott their contact information at firstname.lastname@example.org
